Potlucks, Paintings and Parties, Oh My!

This past week has been one of inspiration at the aRc. Our first community potluck was a huge success. Our neighbors brought their delicious veggie dishes, some grown from their own gardens, and their stirring enthusiasm for participating in the aRc.

Friday we qigonged with Emily from the Montara preschool, watercolored with Cynthia and Olivia who donated some amazing paints and paper, and hung out with our neighbor Mike who so generously lent us his weed-wacker. Thanks guys!

Saturday was our Bring It Gathering and It was certainly Brought. The night was overflowing with drums, poetry, sauna jams, dancing, massage, yummy treats and a whole lotta joy! We raised funds for our projector project to kickoff our TED & Tea conscious movie nights.

Thanks everyone for coming out and supporting our vision. Your participation is what transforms the Abundant Resource Community into your community.

There is a lot to be said, told, explored, implored about and from the great Ocean of the Pacific. Living and waking next to this enormous aspect of the earth humblingly entrances a soul daily. Not much more seems important once the plants are watered. The expansive waves reconnect and reset ceaselessly.

What time was it before there was an Earthling to count a year? (How?) many people can sing the same song together all day long. (When is too?) soon for peace on Earth. Space in between infused with serenity thoughts anticipating enjoying objects as they arise and dissipate.
