Today has just started but has always been in the plans. A hike is in store on this beautiful day! My brother Day is coming down to join us. The house continues to transform and today will be no different. {M}{A}{T}{T}{H}{E}{W} (double click to play) download (.mov) There has been much change happening at the aRc of Montara. Housemates have come and gone and new aRcknicks are showing up as we speak (Rachel)! The plants are all growing so well. The spiral herb garden is rising from the ground and nearing completion. Who would have known it was next to a glass company with a dumpster full of beautiful windows and doors? 5 hours later the ARC is filled with building supplies to build a greenhouse and anything else we could imagine. Thanks Merav and Matt for coming to the rescue! I would have had no idea what to do with the treasures without your help A U-haul truck filled with giant sheets of glass, a trip to a neighborhood dump, and a journey to Nancey’s for everything but the cat. That was epic… The seed donation is coming tomorrow!!! Yay! Rosalie Simba I have just returned from a week long trip to South Florida with my brother Day. It was there amongst the Flordian energy that my father explained in so many words that he thought I was a lion who knew his pride. This was a rare moment in my Human life, as my father so rarely shares intimate thoughts, feelings or emotions. I feel great to be back…Sangjun is in the hizhouse! {M}{A}{T}{T}{H}{E}{W} It hasn’t rained for 24 hours straight! the puddles in the back yard terrace actually dried out and the sun came out to warm and cheer us. Sangjun came by with Josh and they took the bikes with the trailer, not before taking Merav for a ride on the Ducati!!! “It was FUN though a bit intense, but I liked it” She said while proudly showing off the Ducati Leather Jacket Sangjun gave her to wear… Towards evening, Kelly took Arnold and Willis out for a walk and learned that a house close by in our neighborhood was on fire! “It was FLAMING” Kelly said… he took photos of it on his cell phone but still needs to figure out how to transfer them…:-) Plus, Today Rosalie taught the first YOGA class in the ARC. Every Wed. at 6pm, Rain or shine, no matter how many show up. It was great! we did an hour class and it was just the right amount of stretches I needed… Kelly decided that instead of doing Yoga tonight he will watch the president- it was State of the Union address, “It brought a tear to my eye” he said with a smile. We got to hang out with Ron and his brother Robert tonight, they shared with us great stories and joined us for dinner. The question of the evening was: What would you do if you won the Lottery? We all had different answers and it was cool to hear each others dreams… What would you do if you won the Lottery? Today was beautiful and sunny here in Montara. It has been raining all week and the storm is finally over. The house, like the land, is going through a cleanse. We are rearranging, reorganizing, and taking out the old to make way for new energy and inspiration. Today I cleaned the living spaces and cleansed the front yard of invasive scotch broom. We cut up the old christmas trees for firewood, and the garage also got a good cleaning thanks to Kelly and our guest Josh. There is now a temporary greenhouse on the back porch and I just heard back from our seed donation letter…All of the seeds we need are being donated to get the garden up into production! Speaking of the garden I think one of our Broccoli’s is ready to harvest! Trent just left, but he finished setting up our house computer so we can keep you updated and keep organized!
